Blog 3: Interview Preparation

1. Who do you plan to interview? Why?

• I plan on interviewing my mentor, Jack K, who works up at Cal Poly in the engineering building. I chose him because he is very involved in a couple of the competitions similar to and including the Solar Cup. He is extremely knowledgeable and always gives me good facts. 

2.  You have to ask 5 questions. What additional questions do you plan to ask?

• Why do you think the Solar Cup is a good competition to be a part of?
• How did you end up in your profession?
• What kinds of success have some of your teams had in these competitions?
• What is the most important part of making a successful solar powered canoe?
